CASA alumnus wins first prize for GIS dissertation

Gabriele Filomena, a 2017 CASA graduate (MRes in Spatial Data Science & Visualization) has been awarded first prize from GIScRG for the dissertation submitted for his Master's degree.

CASA congratulates Gabriele for his prize, awarded each year by the Geographical Information Science Research Group (GIScRG) for the best dissertation in any area of geographic information science. Gabriele's dissertation, supervised by Dr Ed Manley, is entitled A Computational Approach to "The Image of the City" and can be accessed via the following link:
