Preoccupied with imagination, Bihter Almac has created two works which offer an interactive and reflective insight into our own creativity and that of others.
Unexpected Encounters is an architectural board game for two players which aims to ‘build the home you imagine’. Through play and negotiation this game creates a spatial language where two people’s imagination’s combine and collide.
The large vertically hung image, The Two Self-Portraits, layers drawings on top of one another. The drawings reflect the notions of distraction and consciousness in response to encounters and interactions with different kinds of architecture.
Bihter’s work will be on display in The Bartlett Kiosk until Wednesday 7 March. The next Bartlett Kiosk will launch on 22 March.
