The Bartlett MRes Conference is an opportunity for completing students to present their work and to meet new students just beginning their studies. At the 2017 conference the CASA MRes in Spatial Data Science & Visualisation was well represented. Gabriele Filomena presented his dissertation research, A Computational Approach to the Image of the City. Ioannis Toumpalidis discussed his dissertation on Digital Pathways: a Social Media Route Planning System.

Flora Roumpani, a graduate of the CASA MRes, discussed her PhD research on the theme of Procedural Modelling, Urban Analytics & Participation. And finally Course Director Duncan Smith gave an overview of the CASA MRes programme. Our thanks to the event organisers Filipa Wunderlich and Jeffrey Roberts. If you would like to find out more about the CASA MRes Spatial Data Science and Visualisation please visit https://www.ucl.ac.uk/bartlett/casa/programmes.
