  • We're hiring: Senior Research Associate/Principal Research Associate in Non-Domestic Buildings

The RCUK Centre for Energy Epidemiology (CEE) has a research agenda in energy and buildings and is part of the UCL Energy Institute. We are seeking to appoint a Senior Research Associate/Principal Research Associate in Non-Domestic Buildings. The successful candidate be undertaking research in support of multi-disciplinary energy and buildings projects and will have specific responsibility for communicating the research findings to the non-academic community in order to establish their relevance and value, and to drive impact.

The appointment will be 50% FTE for 10 months in the first instance, further funding to support the post may be available.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and have a PhD or commensurate experience in energy or buildings, with extensive working knowledge of non-domestic buildings and more importantly the people and organisations that own, occupy and manage them.

To be considered for appointment at Grade 9 candidates should have a record of service on peer review and policy making Committees with evidence of having attracted funding from external bodies. Evidence of a significant role in the management/administration of a research group or department. Evidence of the impact of knowledge transfer/exchange on practice, quality of life, social or cultural issues through ongoing engagement with communities.
