Future Retail Environments and the Internet of Things available online

CASA's 2014 ‘Future Retail Environments and the Internet of Things (IoT)’ report is now available online. Building on CASA's experience of applying its Tales of Things platform in retail environments the report explores how ubiquitous computing technologies such as RFID, iBeacons™, Augmented Reality and 3D printing are helping to drive and enable key trends in retail. The report includes examples of innovative IoT solutions that have already been rolled-out by retailers and discusses how the IoT-enabled future retail space may look. The production of this report was supported by a KT Champions award funded by the HEFCE Higher Education Innovation Fund and UCL Enterprise.
