  • Urban Modelling: Critical Concepts in Urban Studies

Professor Sir Alan Wilson’s latest work, Urban Modelling: Critical Concepts in Urban Studies was published this month by Routledge. The history of urban modelling is made up of a number of threads of development which are not always well integrated. Perhaps this is because the field can still be described as relatively ‘young’ in scientific terms even though it has been under active development for fifty years with antecedents as far back as the eighteenth century.

In five volumes, this new Routledge collection answers the need for an authoritative reference work to map the vast body of published literature and to make sense of the continuing explosion in research output.  This collection offers an invaluable, one-stop resource.
