Melissa has worked for the last seven years in international development with the United Nations and third sector, holding roles in policy, institutional partnerships and strategy. Prior to this, she spent six years working with the Australian government and its counterparts in the Asia region to implement policies countering financial crime. She holds a Master in Applied Anthropology and Participatory Development, and a Bachelor in Asian and International Studies. Melissa has a keen interest in addressing inequalities in society and was drawn to the MPA at IIPP for its bold ambition and energy to challenge current systems.
