Mark has thirty-five years international experience of health systems strengthening at national, regional and local levels. He has worked for the NHS in England, NHS Overseas, UK Department of Health, Bupa Group, the World Bank Group and as a consultant to the World Health Organisation, mostly on the topics of health financing, hospital corporatisation and governance. Mark is experienced at working in places facing high political and economic challenges and has worked on extended assignments in Russia, Australia, Ghana, Saudi Arabia, Iran, China, India, and Sudan as well as in the UK various EU countries.
