Mahmoud is an aspiring academic and civil servant who hopes to bring the spirit of co-design into the realm of policymaking in Egypt. Having studied Political Science, Sociology, and Economics at the undergraduate level, Mahmoud has a deep interest in contemporary social issues particularly in the SWANA region. Prior to joining the programme, Mahmoud held positions at private sector firms, news and media publications, and non-profit organisations across Egypt. In his time outside lectures and seminars, Mahmoud enjoys playing music with friends, reading, and spending time in nature.
