Project Title
User-driven Energy Efficiency in Heritage Buildings
Background & Summary of Project
I am an architect, and I have worked in different sectors of construction, design, research and education.
My study will try to give a solution to the complex system of users, heritage and energy efficiency. The methodology employed for this research is socio-technical as it aims to collect, analyse and synthesise through system dynamics social data related to residents’ attitudes towards heritage values and energy efficiency alongside physical data associated with the environmental impact of such decisions on the energy performance and condition of the building itself.
