Professor Henrietta Moore joins the Southwark Land Commission

IGP Director Professor Henrietta Moore, joins the Southwark Land Commission to work to free up more of Southwark's land, for the benefit of local people.

IGP Director Professor Henrietta Moore, joins the Southwark Land Commission to work to free up more of Southwark's land, for the benefit of local people. The first commission of its kind in London, this new venture aims to capture the imagination of key partners to help change how we all think about land use in the city for evermore.Professor Moore will bring much insight & expertise to the panel, drawing particularly on the work of the Prosperity Index which measures what matters to the prosperity of local communities & identifies strategies for local action to improve overall wellbeing. The Commission is led by Southwark Council, with support from local organisations PRD, We Made That, and PMV planning. The first meeting of the Commission will take place on Tuesday 28 February.

The Southwark Land Commission will be chaired by Dr Miatta Fahnbulleh, Chief Executive of the New Economics Foundation.
