The Speaker: 

Dr Mark Lang is an Honorary University Associate at Cardiff University, where he completed his PhD in political science in 2006. He now works as an independent public policy researcher on behalf of a range of clients. His particular research interests relate to the social, economic, environmental and cultural sustainability of places. In 2014, he co-developed the Deep Place approach to sustainable place-making, and over the last six years he has applied this in several communities in Wales.
