Elisabetta is a Research Associate at the Institute for Global Prosperity. She has a PhD in Planning Policy and Urban Economics and her research mainly focuses on evaluating the effects of urban development in multiple geographies. She has analysed the effects of compact city and density policies, affordable housing, conservation planning and most recently urban well-being and inequality.
Currently she is working on a Prosperity Index for various locations in Lebanon. Her research adopts both quantitative and qualitative applied methods, undertaking a variety of empirical strategies. She is a firm believer in interdisciplinary research and is happy to supervise dissertations with either a quantitative focus or mixed-methods approaches.
