Research summary
Himantha's research inerests are in computational and mathematical fluid mecchanics. He is currently developing a model to predict how the
temperature and relative humidity inside a museum display case or a
storage box changes according to the changes occurring in the external
microclimate.
Teaching summary
Since January 2020, Himantha has been teaching the module "Machine Learning for Heritage". This is part of the newly launched masters' degree programme “Data Science for Cultural Heritage” in UCL Institute for Sustainable Heritage.
