Announcing our guest lectures for Spring 2023

11 January 2023

UCL Institute for Sustainable Heritage is pleased to announce the programme for our upcoming guest lecture series, with one in person event and several online events.

Carew Castle and tidal mill pond, Pembrokeshire

Our 2023 run of guest lectures, offered by the ISH Academy, will commence with an online talk from Andrea Ballatore, Lecturer in Social and Cultural Informatics at Kings College London, discussing Cultural Geo-Analytics: Charting the geographies of heritage with data science - book now.

We will be hosting guest speakers from across the heritage sector and beyond to speak on a range of topics covering all aspects of heritage management, heritage science and heritage policy and practice.

The series is part of ISH Academy, which aims to connect our alumni, students, partners and industry to each other and to us, creating opportunities that will enhance heritage activities.

Every lecture will be free and open to all. This year we have organised several events online, which will be taking place via Zoom, and one in-person, which will take place on campus at UCL Central House.

We particularly encourage our staff, students, alumni, external partners and friends of the Institute, as well as colleagues from across BSEER, The Bartlett Faculty and UCL, to join us online for this programme of promising talks.
