The group is comprised of international experts and leaders in climate science, climate change, and the heritage and cultural sectors.

The group will provide strategic input for UNESCO World Heritage Centre activities with cultural heritage within its broader context of sustainability, environmental change, and wellbeing.

The Reflection Group will engage jointly in a critical reflection on both the impact of climate change on culture in all its forms, encompassing tangible heritage, intangible cultural heritage and the creative economy, and the ways in which culture can be a resource to address climate change impact.
