The Bartlett School of Environment, Energy and Resources is looking for a Lecturer in Heritage Data Science to join the Institute for Sustainable Heritage.
he UCL Institute for Sustainable Heritage delivers sustainable solutions to real-world cultural heritage problems through ground-breaking, cross-disciplinary research and innovative teaching for future heritage leaders.
The post holder will undertake research and related activities within and in support of the overall research strategy of UCL ISH. Actively seek new research opportunities and lead on developing research funding proposals. Assist in the development and delivery of the MSc Data Science for Cultural Heritage Programme and undertake supervision of MSc and PhD theses. Engage in activities relating to knowledge transfer, enterprise and impact, as well as building relations and strengthening collaboration across UCL networks.
Key Requirements
The successful candidate will have a research interest in cultural heritage and will have a PhD, or be near to completion, in Mathematics, data science, computer science, statistics, programming or machine learning, or have commensurate research experience. A relevant publication and research funding record commensurate with their experience and the ability to deliver and develop programmes of teaching are essential.
