Disability and Neurodiversity at IGP
We believe that everyone should have equal access to high-quality education at the IGP, regardless of disability or neurodiversity.
At the IGP, we champion accessibility within both the physical and digital estate. As such, some of our staff are currently undergoing Accessibility Champion Training, so that we can best advise on making all of our digital resources accessible to those, for example, with color-blindness or a neurodiversity, as well as to undertake training, for example mobility training for visually impaired students.
Staff at the IGP are encouraged to take Line Management of Staff and PGTAs very seriously and are asked to take reasonable adjustment training, in order to fulfil their roles to the best of their ability.
Reasonable adjustments
If you feel that you are eligible for any reasonable adjustments, you should contact us before your studies are formally underway (igp@ucl.ac.uk). This way, we can refer you to the relevant team, who can provide you with a SoRA. This certification will allow you to have automatic adjustments implemented across all your studies, such as automatic extensions on coursework.
