Hosted by Dr Rodrigo Martinez, (Assistant Professor and Course Director for REEIA), and Dr Matthew Pollock, (Lecturer in Economics and Finance of Real Estate), this session will use a live research debate to demonstrate how economic theory and data analysis are applied to real-world real estate challenges.

The discussion will explore:

• The rise of medium-sized cities with stronger affordability and labour market growth
• What this shift means for housing markets and capital allocation
• How investors and developers are adapting their strategies
