About the exhibition
The Bartlett Summer Show 2026 will be the largest in its history, showcasing an ambitious and diverse range of architectural projects from across five undergraduate and postgraduate programmes:
- Architecture BSc
- Architecture MSci
- Architectural and Interdisciplinary Studies BSc
- Engineering and Architectural Design MEng
- Architecture MArch
Spanning our Bloomsbury building, the show offers a unique opportunity to experience innovative design, critical thinking and experimental work from one of the world’s leading architecture schools.
Alongside the exhibition, a public programme of student-led tours, performances, talks and readings will animate the show, offering deeper insight into the ideas and processes behind the work. Events are designed for prospective students, alumni, industry professionals and the wider public.

Booking information
The Bartlett Summer Show 2026 exhibition is free to visit and no booking is required during public opening hours.
Some events taking place as part of the Summer Show programme, including guided tours and talks, require advance booking. Please check the individual event listings for details.

The Summer Show opens with a private view for graduating students, staff and invited guests, marking the official launch of the exhibition across all six floors of our Bloomsbury building.
This event brings together the Bartlett community and key supporters to celebrate student work and connect with industry and collaborators in a dedicated preview setting.

Celebrate the opening of the Summer Show at our launch party in the newly revitalised UCL Main Quad, reimagined as part of the UCL200 celebrations.
Join us for an evening of live music, DJs, food stalls and a prize-giving ceremony led by a specially invited show opener – all set within this iconic space at the heart of UCL’s campus.
Free and open to Bartlett students and staff, as well as their friends and family.
Booking is essential and tickets must be shown on entry. Please note that tickets do not guarantee entry.

Talking Space is the History and Theory component of the Bartlett Summer Show 2026, bringing together student talks, readings and research presentations from across the School’s exhibiting programmes.
Students from Architecture BSc, Architecture MSci, Architectural & Interdisciplinary Studies BSc, Engineering & Architectural Design MEng and Architecture MArch will share research exploring architecture’s social, political, environmental and cultural contexts through written work and research projects.

Voices is a student-led event from the Architectural and Interdisciplinary Studies BSc at The Bartlett School of Architecture, bringing together performance, discussion and collective reflection to explore how different perspectives can challenge assumptions about architecture and the built environment.
The programme includes a live puppet performance, a panel discussion and workshop featuring students and staff from across the programme, and opportunities for audience participation. Together, the event examines architecture not as a singular discipline or fixed mode of practice, but as an open conversation shaped by multiple voices, experiences and ways of working.
