Responding to students’ growing interest in behavioural economics and nudge theory, Dr Stuart Mills, Lecturer in Economics at Leeds University Business School, will join us for an enrichment lecture exploring the role of the state within market-driven frameworks.
A leading voice in behavioural and digital economics, Mills will discuss insights from his recent article in the Cambridge Journal of Economics, “How ‘nudge’ happened: the political economy of nudging in the UK”

Stuart is a behavioural economist with a background in economics and political economy. His research focuses on nudge theory, personalisation, and digital economy.
Stuart is interested in the intersection of technology, data and behavioural science within public policy and finance, as well as the wider political economy implications.
