The Bartlett Mental Health Awareness Week is taking place from 13 to 16 May 2025, hosting free events centred around wellbeing for all students and staff. The week-long engagement of activities scheduled will help raise awareness and bring community together.
Yoga
12:30 - 13:30 Tuesday 13 May
Room 106, Gordon House, Bloomsbury Campus
The practice will include classical yoga asana (postures), breath work, and gentle warming movements. It will provide an opportunity to stretch, unwind and release tension promoting both physical and mental wellbeing. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced yogi, yoga offers a balanced approach to cultivating strength, flexibility, and inner peace.
Suitable for all levels.
Please wear something comfortable that you can move in. You are welcome to bring your own yoga mat or mats will be provided on the day.

Drawing Workshop – Still life

An opportunity to relax and draw from a still life in a gently guided 2 hour workshop. The aim is to enjoy the process and act of drawing rather than focus on a finished piece.
All skill levels welcome
There will be some limited materials available (pencil and paper) but please feel free to bring your own.

Creative Wellbeing through Needle Felting Workshop

The Amoursphere Experience: Creative Well-being Through Needle Felting
Led by artist Fernene Amour this hands-on workshop explores the mindful art of needle felting. Using natural fibres, you’ll learn to sculpt with wool, creating your own felted piece while engaging in a relaxing, meditative craft. Open to all UCL students and staff, this session offers a creative space to pause, focus, and connect through artistic expression.
