One and a half million words on air quality in the built environment
Join us for a webinar with Simon Jones, founder of Air Quality Matters.

Shaping the sustainable built environment is a webinar series and part of the celebrations for 60 years of Environmental Design and Engineering at The Bartlett, UCL's Faculty of the Built Environment.
In this session, organised by the IEDE Research Theme on Moisture, Temperature and Air Quality, Simon Jones, founder of Air Quality Matters, shares what a year and a half of podcasting has taught him about communicating complexity and science, breaking echo chambers, and the power of conversation.
This is an insight into communicating on the subjects we know deeply in a way that is reachable, resonates, and matters to people.

With nearly 20 years of experience within the Housing, Construction, and Building Services Sector, Simon has a proven track record in collaboration and communication. Working regularly at national and international ‘C’ level, policy, and research arenas, he has worked with and for businesses, building brands, reputations, and sustainable growth. Simon is passionate about indoor air quality and the impact of good ventilation, and is a strong advocate for better standards in the sector.
