OWS: From Research to Policy in Children's Active Travel and Health
On the Way to School: Active Travel Mobility Interventions in the Global South.

The “On the Way to School” Project is delighted to invite you formally to our first in-person Open Public Event, marking the project's launch. This event aims to introduce and discuss the research project, its aims and approaches to improving children and adolescents' physical and mental health through active travel to school.
The event is divided into two main parts. First, there will be presentations of showcase methodologies in active travel research and provide an overview of policy examples from other contexts addressing safe school trips. Second, a panel discussion facilitated by Professor Julio D. Dávila featuring academic experts and practitioners engaging with local and international active travel to school policies. After the panel discussion, we invite you to join us for an informal networking reception where drinks will be provided.
