Energy Intensive Users Group

Arjan is Director of the Energy Intensive Users Group (EIUG). The EIUG (EIUG) is an umbrella organisation that represents the interests of energy intensive industrial (EII) consumers. Its objectives are to achieve security energy supplies and competitive energy prices for British industry. The EIUG represents EIIs including manufacturers of steel, chemicals, fertilisers, paper, glass, cement, lime, ceramics, and industrial gases. He previously was assistant director of energy policy in the Department of Business Energy and Industrial Strategy working on energy and climate change policies. He holds a MA in Public Policy and Public Administration from the University of Twente and a MSc in European Policy & Management from Birkbeck College, University of London.
