LAMSA, which means ‘touch’ in Arabic, is an ethical fashion brand celebrating the Lamsa of Syrian refugee and Lebanese artisans. The student-led pop-up will feature items handmade in Bekaa Valley, Lebanon. All purchases support community belonging and self-reliance through craft. This is a part of the PhD Research Projects 2023 - Exhibition.
A percentage of sales from this pop-up event will be donated to a local organisation providing Turkey-Syria earthquake relief.
PhD Research Projects 2023 - Exhibition
The PhD Reseach Projects 2023 - Exhibition is an interdisciplinary exhibition open to the public, featuring the work of students from across the faculty who are developing or concluding their doctoral research (MPhil/PhD). The exhibition aims to encourage discussions between students, staff, invited guests and critics and the public.
