Dr. Yuqi Liu

South China University of Technology

Dr. Liu is an Associate Professor at the Department of Urban Planning, School of Architecture, South China University of Technology (SCUT). She obtained her Ph.D. degree of Urban Planning from the University College London. Before joining SCUT, she worked as a post-doctoral fellow in the University of Hong Kong from 2018 to 2021. Her research interests focus on urban environment and wellbeing, urbanization and migration, gerontology geography, and urban redevelopment. Her research findings have been published in international peer-reviewed journals, such as Health & Place, Landscape and Urban Planning, Urban Studies, and Urban Geography.
