Transport and equity in Latin America: Lessons and ways forward from Bogotá
Join us on Friday the 8 December from 5:00 pm GMT for a roundtable discussion with Professor Juan Pablo Bocarejo, former Mobility Secretary for Bogotá and current professor at Universidad de los Andes in Colombia.

The event will include a keynote presentation from Professor Bocarejo, who will reflect upon challenges and opportunities for sustainable and equitable transport, drawing from his experience leading the city’s transport agenda between 2016 and 2019. Juan Pablo’s presentation will be followed by a brief commentary from Dr Valentina Montoya, Senior Researcher in Gender and Mobility at the Transport Studies Unit of Oxford University, and a roundtable dialogue around the challenges and opportunities for public transport, financing of transport infrastructure and services, and sorting local connectivity, among other topics, chaired by Dr Daniel Oviedo, Associate Professor at the Bartlett Development Planning Unit of UCL.
