Belinda Bukari

Title of the presentation: Gender, Women and Planning

Belinda Bukari has over 22 years of experience in the development field, Governmental and non-governmental organisation sector. Her expertise includes development planning, governance and sustainable development, forest and natural resources conservation and Community Engagement. She obtained her first degree in Integrated Development Studies from the University for Development Studies  and her Master of Arts in Governance and Sustainable Development from the University of Cape Coast. She is currently working for the Local Government Service in Ghana, as a Senior Development Planning Officer. She has been actively involved in facilitating the empowerment on vulnerable women and girls through community development programmes. She is a member of the Ghana Institute of Planners, the Commonwealth Association of Planners and the Commonwealth Women In Planning Network

Victoria Pham

Title of Presentation: Planning Perspectives in Canada

 

Victoria Pham graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Planning and have six years of post-graduation work experience. Her current position is in the post-secondary sector, where she is responsible for facilities and space matters, health and safety, and capital planning in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Alberta. Previously, she worked as a land developer and urban planning consultant in the private land development industry in Edmonton, Alberta and Hamilton, Ontario. She is currently pursuing an MBA part time with the Alberta School of Business and is a full member of the Canadian Institute of Planners.
