The Karaoke Court is an event originally conceived and developed by the lawyer and artist Jack Tan. The Karaoke Court builds on song duel practices from indigenous cultures to create a method of dispute resolution that prioritises community and collaboration.
Join the Architecture & Interdisciplinary Studies Year 3 students who have developed a Karaoke Court that will centre on creating a platform built on trust, empowerment and fun, promoting community reconciliation in institutional environment. The concept of the Karaoke Court is uniquely suited to interdisciplinarity, incorporating law and art, which appear from the outside to be unrelated, to create a public engaging event.
This event will be held at 22 Gordon Street.
