MOIN brings together leading global policy-making institutions – including state investment banks, innovation agencies, cities and government departments to share the challenges and opportunities they face when trying to create and nurture public value.   Prior to joining UCL, Rowan was Director of Innovation at the Royal Society of Arts (RSA) where she set up the RSA Lab, an experimental space that uses design methods to explore, prototype and test research insights and policy ideas with government agencies, NGOs, academic partners, NHS Trusts, businesses and social enterprises.

He led Ragnar Nurkse School of Innovation and Governance for 10 years, building it into one of the leading innovation and governance schools in the region. Professor Kattel has also served on various public policy commissions, including the Estonian Research Council and European Science Foundation. He has worked as an expert for the OECD, UNDP and the European Commission. He has published extensively on innovation policy, its governance and specific management issues

She speaks widely about the value of design and co-presents BBC Radio 4 The Fix. She is a member of The Point People

She is passionate about resolving societal problems, collaboratively, with governments and other stakeholders. She has implemented impactful projects valued at approx. £80 million in 850 sites in Nigeria.  She is enthusiastic about a future where mission-oriented innovation policies will contribute to the creation of sustainable societies. She has a BSc (Hons) Accounting and Financial Analysis, University of Warwick; and MSc International Management, King’s College, London as well as graduating as in the first cohort of IIPP’s Masters in Public Administration.
