Bartlett policy lunch seminar: engaging with select committees
Learn more about engaging with Parliament from House of Commons Select Committee Assistant Baris Tufekci

The Bartlett Public Policy Board are delighted to have Baris Tufekci, House of Commons Select Committee Assistant and Hansard Reporter at the Bartlett to hold a seminar and Q&A on engaging with Parliament as an academic.
Baris will be talking giving an overview and Q&A on how academic engagement with committees works (how to find out how you can engage, what submitting evidence means and should look like, how the process works and what the outputs are). If you are a PhD student or early career researcher and unsure about how the parliamentary policy process works or how your research can have an influence on policy, this is a good opportunity to speak to someone involved in the process.
