The role of carbon capture and storage in meeting climate policy targets

The UCL Institute for Sustainable Reources (ISR) and the Global CCS Institute warmly invite you to attend a panel discussion on the role of carbon capture and storage in meeting climate policy targets.
 
As the UN Climate Change Conference (COP23) draws near, this event will bring together leading experts from government, industry, academia and the media to discuss the deployment of CCS as a well-evidenced and versatile climate change mitigation technology. The discussion will also focus on the role of CCS in delivering “a new energy economy.”

This event is organised to mark the launch of UCL ISR authored research which makes a positive case for the large-scale removal of CO2 emissions from a range of industrial processes, including electricity and heat generation, and the production of synthetic and hydrogen fuels. The Report also furthers the understanding on the contribution of CCS to a decarbonised energy future.

The discussion will be moderated by Roger Harrabin, BBC Environmental Analyst.
