This term’s event, on Energy and Development: when demand peaks, involves speakers from across the Bartlett’s schools, with expertise in energy, economics, social and spatial networks, urban computation and visualization, engineering.
Each presentation from a UCL speaker will be followed by a response from an expert working in an allied field. The event will close with a discussion with the audience on how to make future collaborations and synergies possible across the UCL energy and development research domain.
Energy and Development: when demand peaks
As the world’s global energy landscape is changing rapidly, we are experiencing significant shifts, economic and social transformation. In this event, we plan to explore UCL interdisciplinary research, knowledge exchange and activities that address energy and development issues, and to emerge with a plan for new and expanded activities in this area.
