Stadtklang: London Dreaming with Mark Fisher

Writer and theorist Mark Fisher will join us to explore all things sonic and spatial around the theme 'London Dreaming' at the next Stadtklang music evening at the Arcola Theatre Bar in Dalston on Sunday 8 November.
Mark is author of Capitalism Realism (2009) and Ghosts of My Life (2014), Lecturer in the Department of Visual Cultures at Goldsmiths, and k-punk blogger. He is also a highly respected music journalist, writing regularly for The Wire, frieze, New Statesman, Sight & Sound and The Wire, where he was acting deputy editor for a year.
Stadtklang is a regular UCL Urban Laboratory music night for urbanists - exploring the sounds of the city in a relaxing environment in the innovative surroundings of the Arcola Theatre on Sunday evenings.
All welcome, free entry and no prior booking required. Please like the Stadtklang Facebook page to hear more about upcoming events.
The Arcola Theatre is only 100 metres from Dalston Kingsland and Dalston Junction on the Overground, and with plenty of buses passing nearby.
