The UCL Bartlett School of Environment, Energy and Resources is looking for a Lecturer in Machine Learning for Smart Buildings and Cities

The UCL Institute for Environmental Design and Engineering (IEDE) delivers world-leading research, teaching and enterprise in the field of the built environment. Their mission is to generate and exchange knowledge in the sustainable development of buildings and the urban environment and to train the future leaders in the field.

IEDE is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Machine Learning for Smart Buildings and Cities to play a key role in our current and future research and teaching programmes, especially to support our rapidly developing Building Performance research and teaching endeavours.

Key Requirements

The postholder will have a PhD, or be near to completion, in a subject relevant to a research area in the job description, or relevant experience commensurate with a PhD. The ability to deliver and develop programmes of teaching in the areas outlined in the job description is essential.

The candidate must be able to demonstrate that they have, or will have, a publication record suitable for inclusion in the REF process. He or she will also have experience of developing research proposals.
