Farhang Tahmasebi's co-authored paper wins award for Best Short Paper

15 April 2019

IEDE's Farhang Tahmasebi's co-authored paper has won an award for the Best Short Paper at the 10th Annual Symposium on Simulation for Architecture and Urban Design

Award

The paper entitled “Including Occupant Behaviour in Building Simulation”, won the Best Short Paper Award at the 10th annual Symposium (SimAUD 2019) held in Atlanta, USA, April 7-9. This paper, which results from of a collaboration between Max Marschall from RMIT University, Farhang Tahmasebi from UCL IEDE and Jane Burry from Swinburne University of Technology, aims to provide designers with insights into the impact of occupant behaviour and associated modelling approaches on building energy and environmental performance.
