The role of buildings in the evolving landscape of low-carbon energy systems is becoming increasingly complex. They are expected not only to be energy-efficient but also to be interactive with other sectors of power grids. Recently, machine learning has emerged as a powerful tool in advancing smart building technologies.

This taster lecture will introduce how machine learning can drive the development of smart buildings. Discover how you will learn about these topics via case studies and module learning on the Smart Building and Digital Engineering MSc
