The UCL-Energy Social Sciences Group brings together UCL researchers whose work considers the social aspects of energy use and supply.
As well as providing a forum for advice, discussion and collaboration, the group also promotes the integration of the social sciences with other disciplines as they are applied to energy.
Our activities include:
- hosting a member-maintained information repository covering things like the ethics application process at UCL, relevant events and training, and recommended reading
- operating an email list so that members can share information on events and publications or ask questions
- organising events and training with internal and external speakers
- facilitating intra- and inter-departmental collaboration at UCL, as well as forging links with other organisations
If you’re a UCL student or staff researcher and would like to join the group, or if you have questions or suggestions, please email us.
The group is administrated by Clare Hanmer, Michael Fell, Zareen Sethna and Iwona Bisaga.
