Fifteen partners from five countries are working together to create advanced traffic solutions for synchronized and resilient multimodal transport services through the SYNCHROMODE project.

A kick-off meeting was held on 10-11 May in Thessaloniki, Greece, hosted by the Centre for Research & Technology at Hellenic Institute of Transport, with productive discussions laying the foundation for an exciting journey ahead.

This innovative project aims to revolutionize transport operations and optimize the overall network from a multimodal perspective. With new predictive capabilities and network optimization, SYNCHROMODE will address the challenges of balancing supply and demand while responding to diverse events.

SYNCHROMODE will develop a data-driven ICT toolbox to transform management strategies and meet diverse mobility needs.

UCL MaaSLab will contribute to the generation of advanced transport modelling and simulation tools that will enable next generation of transport management aiming at alleviating transport related externalities and contributing towards efficient energy use and decarbonisation.
