Senior UCL-Energy academics Prof Tadj Oreszczyn, Prof Gary Raw, Dr Andy Stone and UCL IEDE academic Rokia Raslan were key contributors to the new report ‘Smart Systems and Heat Consumer challenges for low carbon heat’ launched by Energy Technologies Institute (ETI) last week. This report is part of ETI’s smart systems and heat research programme in which UCL-Energy is a research partner.

The report states how the UK will need to all but eliminate emissions from domestic heating to meet its carbon targets, and highlights the need to develop ways to reduce emissions from domestic heating that are more appealing to consumers.
