UCL Central House Sustainable Garden Project takes next step

5 June 2015

garden

The UCL Central House Garden Project took a big step forward this week with the delivery of two tonnes of garden soil. Volunteers used the soil to fill three raised beds and 13 large planting pots. This is part of the ongoing work to transform two courtyards at Central House into sustainable garden areas.

The project focuses on increasing local biodiversity and adding links to the London wildlife corridor. Wherever possible the Central House Garden Project will be recycling unused items and responsibly sourcing other items.

The Central House Garden Project is facilitated by volunteers from across the four Central House institutes, UCL-Energy, ISR, IEDE, ISH and all interested Central House personnel
