UCL-Energy student invited to attend Rio+20 by PM of Bhutan

UCL-Energy PhD student Tia Kansara has been invited by the Prime Minister of Bhutan to join him at the Rio+20 United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development in Brazil.

At the three day Rio+20 Conference, world leaders, along with thousands of participants from governments, the private sector, NGOs and other groups, will come together to consider how to reduce poverty, advance social equity and ensure environmental protection on an ever more crowded planet.

Tia will also be speaking at the 'Responsible Architects' with the Union des Internationale Architectes organised by President Albert Dubler with Antonio Riverso, who is also working towards the World Urban Forum by the UN-Habitat that she will be joining them at in September.
