Our MSc students are currently undertaking their overseas fieldwork assignments and will be returning to London in the coming weeks. DPU students engage in in-depth research as part of their 'Practice' modules, which sees them explore a city in detail during several months of desk-based research in London and and intensive period of primary research overseas at the start of Term 3.

Each programme has conducted research in a different urban environment, with this year's destinations including cities in Africa, Asia and Latin America. The students will be presenting their research across several presentations this month. Given the different emphases of each of the Masters programmes at the DPU, these presentations will cover a wide variety of themes within development planning, and within the specific subject areas themselves.
