PhD student Daryia Palityka awarded the Associate Fellowship from the Higher Education Academy
The fellowship allows Daryia to apply and enhance her abilities while working as a PGTA in the Healthcare Facilities MSc. Daryia highlighted the value of The UCL Arena Programme's training and mentoring, and is eager to offer assistance to colleagues who are going on a similar journey.

The UCL Arena Fellowship is an inclusive and flexible program offering various events and opportunities that aim to advance research-based education at UCL. These awards are granted based on a successful track record of teaching, supporting students' learning, or leading an aspect of education at UCL. The program is accredited by the Higher Education Academy (HEA), allowing UCL to confer awards related to teaching and leadership in higher education to its own staff.

BSSC student named finalist for Built Environment Undergraduate of the Year Award 2022
AECOM, the award partner for Built Environment Undergraduate of the Year have announced Ali as one of their finalists for this year. Ali has been chosen out of 100’s of applicants that applied after completing an online application and psychometric tests and is the only nominee from UCL.
BSSC student awarded Faculty Medal Prize
The award is made each year to one distinguished undergraduate student per faculty, in recognition of overall academic performance and how this has developed over the period of study; contributions to the programme of study and School and contributions to the wider UCL community.
