Research summary

My current research interests revolve around business model innovation, operational changes, and new organisational forms in the digital economy. I am also interested in value creation, digitalisation and advanced services in the construction industry.

Teaching summary

I teach at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I will be teaching two modules (Big Data and Business Analytics and Agile and Hybrid Project Management) for the MSc in Digital Engineering Management launching September 2020:

I am a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Project Management and Business Analytics at UCL. I hold a PhD in Servitization and Digitalization and a MSc in Economics & International Management. I am also visiting lecturer at Aston Business School and External Examiner at Bournemouth University and University of Brighton.  My background is in Civil Engineering (MEng) and I have practical experience working in different infrastructure projects for a global engineering company (Sacyr).  I am interested in the strategic challenges that data management is creating for both organisations and customers. Likewise, my research tries to shed light on data-driven value creation and capture, and the implementation of smart services in the construction sector. I have already published articles in specialized scientific journals (ABS / JCR) and I have presented my research works in several international conferences.
