Dr Jing Meng receives Public Sector award

Dr Jing Meng, an Associate Professor at the School has been named the winner for the public sector award hosted by the UK Chinese Women Connect Association, recognising her accomplishments in academia.

The annual award celebrates the achievements of women of Chinese ethnicity, promoting role models for the community and inspiring the young generation to reach their full potential. 

Dr Meng said: “I am deeply honoured to be recognized as the winner of the public sector category by UK Chinese Women Connect, a pioneering platform connecting and empowering women of Chinese ethnicity. The community has provided me with exceptional role models and I aspire to inspire others in the same way they have inspired me.” 

Prof. Priti Parikh, Acting Director of the School said: “Huge congratulations to Dr Jing Meng for being recognised as the winner in public sector for Chinese Women Connect of the year. The recognition is a testament to her achievements and contributions in the fields of climate change and energy transition.
