The first course of the UK-China Infrastructure Academy was successfully delivered between 4th and 9th December 2016.

The establishment of the Academy is based on the policy outcomes of the 7th and 8th China-UK Economic and Financial Dialogue.

The academy provides premium executive training to help Chinese investors make seasoned decisions in the UK infrastructure market. In addition, it will facilitate collaboration between the two countries in the “One Belt, One Road” projects.

Professor Dean Alan Penn joined Andrew Percy MP, Minister for the Northern Powerhouse and Mr. Lin Nianxiu, the Vice Chairman of China’s National Development and Reform Commission, in the official launch of the Academy.

The Academy is sponsored by the UK Chancellor of the Exchequer and the Chairman of China's National Development and Reform Commission.
