C&PM alumnus,Neil Thompson, selected to join CIOB Innovation and Research Panel

Neil Thompson, a recent graduate of C&PM’s MSc Construction Economics and Finance programme and Head of Digital Research and Innovation at Balfour Beatty, has been selected to join the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) Innovation and Research Panel.

The panel is made up of leading figures in academia and industry and aims to champion innovation and research in the construction sector. It works closely with organisations and public bodies providing expert advice to help bring positive change to the industry, both in the UK and further afield.

As a panel member, Neil will be sharing knowledge with fellow experts in the field, shaping intelligence within the global construction research and innovation landscape, and influencing funding decisions for commissioned research.
