Sustainable Urbanism, a Magical Mystery Tour of London

Professor Tim Broyd hosted a half-day visit to UCL for Columbian visitors as a part of the ‘Sustainable Urbanism, a Magical Mystery Tour of London’.

This incoming trade mission on Green and Sustainable Construction was organised by the British Embassy in Bogota, Columbia Delegates were predominantly representing Colombian Government, City Government and Financial Institutions.

The week long programme consisted of visits to UK Government Departments, Meeting with leading UK architects and designers and site visits, e.g. Olympic Park. UCL was the only academic institute visited. Guests were presented with relevant Bartlett and CEGE work followed by open discussion.
